When the ol' waterbed died (wet tush and all) about 8 years back -- and it was a baffled variety that looked, with the top on it, like a regular mattress, we did some heavy research and really wanted to get a Tempur-Pedic. But they're very expensive. Compromised and bought a brand that claimed to have memory foam just as good for about 60% of the cost of a Tempur-Pedic.

Well, it's NOT just as good. It's a decent mattress and we find it still quite confortable, but its memory is similar to the memory of its owners -- who are suffering from CRS.

Moral -- spend the bucks and get the real thing.

When I get a real job again I'd like to invest in one of the Tempur-Pedic's mattress toppers until I can afford to replace our mattress.
