I stand in the moonlight, not far from the theater where the films of Bogart, Hepburn and Stewart play side by side with others such as "Romancing the Stone" and "Sleepless in Seattle". Fabulous dance music fills the air as it drifts toward the sandy beach at my feet. Yet she is not here.

Strangely, the world around me seems totally devoid of those countless numbers of single women who claim these as their favorite things. One would be led to believe that they would swarm by the thousands to spots like this.

Lies! All lies I tell you!
