Bit like sex on the beach - great in theory, and not a bad cocktail, but the sand gets everywhere, and you get cramp because it's cold, and you realise you're only doing it cos it looked good in a movie, and you thought it might be romantic to roll around in the surf in a "From Here to Eternity" type way, but it doesn't work quite as well at dawn in Ireland as it does in Hawaiian sunshine. A moonlit walk is preferable, and there's less chance of catching crabs.
