As anti-Zionism becomes more and more permissible, anti-Semites will inevitably begin to express anti-Zionist ideas while keeping quiet about their deeper anti-Semitism. So it's very possible you've encountered real anti-semites, if not open anti-semitism. This does not mean that most anti-Zionists are also anti-Semites, but certainly most anti-semites are anti-Zionist.
