I realized today that I 'know' more people on the Mudcat than I do in real life. I think it would be impossible to ask a question on the 'cat and not get an answer. One afternoon--acting on a childish impulse--I posted a ! with nothing else. Within 24 hours there were over 30 or 40 posts relating to everything from William Shatner to lingerie that I suspect someone in a certain largest Canadian province keeps in a special drawer for the blow-up dolls. This place is crazy, but good crazy.
