Thread Name: Lyr: Irish Blessing/May the Road Rise to Meet You
Subject: RE: An Irish Blessing
Hi Tim,

we sing a song called 'An Irish Blessing' in our folklore chorus in Plochingen, Germany and it's pretty close to this old toast, but has a second phrase as well. It goes
May the roads rise to meet you
may the wind be always at your back,
may the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon your face.

And until we meet again, until we meet again
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

May the sun make your days bright,
may the stars illuminate your nights,
may the flowers bloom along your path,
your house stand firm against the storm

Hope you like it.
Regards
Sabine
