Stones, Beatles, Kinks, Dylan, The Who and loads of other stuff. I saw Ray Davies playing solo a few years ago. He was telling stories between songs and was very entertaining. It struck me that he was becoming more like a folk singer. As there were always folk and blues roots in his music, I wondered whether things had come the full circle.
