I was nearly 16 and it was with my school music teacher. He was the first person to tell me that I had a good singing voice, but he said he could help me to use it better, so I used to go round to his flat after school on Wednesdays. He showed me how to sing from my tummy by standing behind me with his hands round my chest to stop me from breathing up the top, then one day he asked me if I wanted to do something else and I said OK. We used to do it regularly after that and I really enjoyed it. Perhaps it was a good thing because otherwise it would have probably been with a boy of my own age who wouldn't have insisted on using a contraceptive like he did, and then I'd have got pregnant.

I thought he was ever so old at the time and was surprised that he still wanted to do it. Now I'm about the same age as he was and I still have a strong sex drive so I can understand why he did. After about a year he got engaged to a girl and told me he didn't want to see me any more, I suppose he'd been going out with her all along, and then he got married. It didn't really matter because I was leaving school anyway. A few years later I saw them in a pub, I was a bit drunk and was going to go up and tell her, but my friends stopped me.
