I feel as though a lump of my life has disappeared As a confirmed radio listener, who even has the radio on all night, I seem to have been listening to this man's thoughtfull pieces for ever. He has done more for US/UK good relations, than Lend-Lease. A real gentleman has died with Alistair Cooke's passing, and a very bright light has been extinguished.
I shall miss him.
