I apologise for this paranoia about the spelling of my name (thanks for explaining why it's read wrongly, Amos).

It's my sad fate to have a name that no one spells right the first time. Unfortunately independently-minded parents chose "Ashlie" rather than "Ashley" or "Ashleigh", so I've gone through life being constantly spelled wrong.

And now I choose my own derivative, it turns out to be just as hard to spell...
