What chance would a poor bloody sausage dog stand, up against a Badger?

That's assuming that dachsunds as originally bred had the same personalities as they do now. They've been selectively bred for the characteristics that make them good pets instead of good hunters for many generations now. Imagine a dachsund with the personality of a Doberman Pinscher and you're probably coming closer to what the breed was like hundreds of years ago.
