The only good things that came out of that war:
-Dolly Madison ice cream (for the States) and
-Laura Secord chocolates (for Canada)
I think we got the better deal :-)

Anyone watch "Spellbound"? It's so weird to hear foreign words given American pronunciations. My favourite: foyer. Creme de menthe also startles me.
