Well, talked to Tom three phone calls (incoming) ago -- I'm really looking forward to being able to eat a meal without being on the phone or on the computer (it'll happen) -- the surgery will be Thursday morning.

Actually, the teeth thing is sort of an added benefit (well, especially if we can come up with the wherewithall for dentures). I really wish he had had the lower ones done when he had the uppers done 22 years ago.

Okay. Now I can dive into a hot bubbly scented tub, sip some more wine and have a good read in an interesting combination of mystery and sci-fi -- a police procedural that takes place in the future. Maybe my brain will be in a fit enough state tonight to avoid reading the same page over and over again . . .
