There was a decent crowd at Castle Field in Laxton, Notts. Enough to keep a couple of barbeques going, anyway. And we left after an hour (five year old got too cold/bored to look for any more mediaeval skeletons in rabbit burrows) and they were still going strong. The local paper consigned the advance coverage to the children's page but here was a reporter with a camera exhorting strange poses so there might be more this week!
