We have now discussed about all the metre I can measure up to, and I would like to address the focus of BS to yards, instead. Mine is smallish, unlike some of my more acreage-gifted colleagues, no more than 60 by 40 feet and some of that is patio. There's a tall hedge and a stone wall I had done, and a few nice trees and that's all! But it sure keeps life simple. We have just finished the annual trimming and hauled of a dozen big bags full to the dump.

It would be a great place for six or ten Catters to hang out and plunk and sing.

We have done it with six (not all of them catters, though) and it worked great.

The benefit of this scheme being that I don't have to abstain from Guinness if I am already tuh home, as long as I can still grin at the guests!
