The <blink> command only works with Netscape. It just flashes a passage (or whatever) off and on, and Web page designers generally consider it to be obnoxious.

The <marquee> command works only with Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) It just moves words (or whatever) along the screen, and Web page designers generally consider it to be obnoxious. However, I find it's really fun for links:
