A modern woman doesn't get a man to kill spiders for her OR kill them herself! A modern woman lets the spiders live! If she doesn't want them in the house for some reason, she traps them with a drinking glass and magazine and puts them outside.

Spiders are beautiful and useful. It's mosquitoes that should be killed.
