Katie Lee is the author of "Ten Thousand Goddam Cattle" (1976) recently reprinted in paperback by one of the university presses, and presumably available through Amazon.com.

It's an indispensable discussion of cowboy songs, based on Lee's own experiences in the southwest. And it's a great read, too.
