Interesting how different folk is from classical. The general opinion here is that bands should throw in a few songs for variety, even if their primary strength is instrumental. But in classical music concerts that are completely are very standard indeed.Beethoven didnt feel the need to bung in a few choruses of the Wild Rover half way through the Pastoral Symphony for a bit of a change. Why is this?
