Don't forget Javier recorded a certain falseta in 1931 with Manuel Torre which you allways play so well Ted. As seen in the "Rito y Geografía del Toque" series, Diego del Gastor played a version using sixteenth-notes. The D minor and A7 inversions offer chromatic motion (one fret of difference). In the first part, the fourth and fifth strings are played just before each chord change. Notice the left-hand slide at the end of the eighth complete compás. These details reveal Javier's smooth and intelligent left-hand fingering. The right-hand thumb is used for most of the falseta.

The "G" indicates a golpe (tap), and the letters below the staff, pimae, represent the striking-hand thumb, index, middle, ring, and little fingers, respectively. The numbers 1 to 4 above the staff respresent the fingers of the fretting hand, index to little. An "s" indicates a fretting-hand slide. Enjoy...
