The clothing the fellows are wearing are called shorts. What the shorts cover up are called various names like Spike, The Snake, Willie, etc. Some gentlemen develop pet names for Mr Happy. Many men think with Mr Happy. It is a useful device, at once conveniently located so as to provide ease of access, and yet delicately hidden away to provide that certain 'je ne sais pas quois' aura of mystery and imagination.
