I got a call this afternoon. After trying for decades I have finally sold a short story. I sold it to "Arabella Romances" not "The Atlantic Monthly" or "The New Yorker". But it's fiction and it's been accepted. It will see publication this winter, I hope. If I could treat the whole mudcat to champagne I would!
