Things tended to get pretty funky at Resurrection City once the sun went down. The SCLC honchos like Rev. Abernathy and Rev. Jackson never really spent the night. But with folks like Jimmy Collier and Rev. Frederick Douglass Kirkpatrick taking up residence, some really fine music could be heard. Len Chandler spent a couple of days there, as did Phil Ochs and Eric Anderson, but it was more like Collier and Kirk who would be singing songs like Hesistation Blues.
