Well, as I stared at the registration form I knew that I did not want to use my real name and I had to go back to college and dust off "Dinty." Some of my oldest friends still use it. I used it while bartending through college. People seemed to like being served ale by someone named Dinty Moore. People also seemed to have fun coming up with variations on it... Baron von Dinthoven being one of my personal favorites. It actualy had nothing to do originally with the beefstew but I think that it why it stuck.
