I found it racist AND sexist. Not to mention, totally unrealistic.

But hey, Jim Dixon, you aren't a black woman, so maybe that is why you didn't see the film as racist or sexist. That isn't unusual. Doesn't mean that the film isn't racist or sexist though.

And please, don't give me that "racism and sexism are in the eye of the beholder". They aren't. They are ingrained cultural conditioning. If you haven't been on the receiving end of the negative treatment, you aren't nearly as likely to perceive that sort of treatment as negative.

Why? No other reason than because it ain't happening to you.
