Speaking of hormones, I finally got to see Julie Christie in "Darling" last night (it is finally out on DVD, one of Apple films (!) few triumphs) -- I missed it in the 60's. What a great movie, and she is terrific, unbelievably beautiful (but you knew that) and acts her heart out -- I can't remember when she ever got to do that again -- even in Zhivago, she is reduced to being the cool goddess. It is good to see her come out of her self-imposed exile again, though it is all bit parts -- Harry Potter is only the most recent, we get three seconds of her.
