Had a fine July 4 over here in Germany. At the 50th anniversary of a tiny fire fighting department in an even tinier village we celebrated our annual firemen's county rally; the parade was longer than the main street. Every 6th or 7th group was a band blaring, fifing and drumming happily away.
Afterwards we met in a giant tent with lots of beer and music. Met a lot of friends I mostly see on such occasions only.
