I did an ACE search on the ASCAP website. The original song was written in French by Guy Pierre M.L. Lafarge and Monod Flavien. The English lyrics were written by Gordon Mack. The copyrite is held by Remick Music Corp., which apparently is a division of Warner Brothers Studios in California. Now, at least we know who wrote the song. The next step is to get our hands on the lyrics. Thank you Anglo, but I no longer have any device capable of playing a 45 RPM disc.
