Right, waiting is the hard part. I've been there twice, and never got to liking it, but both times the biopsy came out all right. And if it's not entirely right, there's generally something you can do.

My old painting prof, Mary Kirkwood, was dedicated to oil painting; she never married on principle,because she thought it would interfere with the painting. She didn't let anything interfere with the paintiing.

One day she said "You know, every time I hear of an artist that lost his hand and can't paint any more I have to laugh." And she laughed a while. I was a little shocked. Then she said. "If you know where the paint is supposed to go you can put it on with your elbow."

Best case or worst case, you can survive, and prevail.
