I agree with McKnees; you must reinvent yourself as a non-smoker and then believe it. I did that twenty-seven years ago and it stuck. If you are a smoker trying to quit, you'll always be conflicted. You'll find yourself wondering each day whether you can make it without a smoke. You'll think of it as a slow process and allow yourself occasional infractions. If you decide you are a non-smoker there is no more conflict. Now the question is... are you self-defining or are you defined by others?Good luck, your life depends on this.
