Some Red Army choirs had their folk bands with guitars, balalaikas, fiddles, accordeon and trumpet. It is the trumpet which gave them the flavour.

Remember: All the fiddlers of the world scratching their strings won't produce a sound as majestic like a trumpeter with a slight portion of his breath.
