HEY! It's July 13th! Happy John Parker Sinatra day! Today is the day that John Parker, the founder of the minute men was born. He was the one who said, if it must be war let it begin there - way over there, like you see that hill, that ain't half far away enough FAR FAR FAR over there... see you all OVER there in a minute or two, I'm just going to nip over to McDonnalds for a McFat burger, and don't shoot until you see the whites of their rice. History remembers the quote a wee bit differently, but what the hell. He was convinced that the Revolution could only be won by those who cooked the fastest, so he invented 1. The minute men and B. muinte rice. His first idea was to make very little soldiers who would eat very compact foods like minute rice, then, someone pronouced minute (little) as minute (60 seconds) and a light went off in his head. When he came too, he invented the minutemen and minute rice at the same go, as well as fast food (food with more fat than any other ingreediant so our soldiers would be fat and short of breath, making for short violent battles) and heart desease.He also invented Uncle Ben, to put a kinder gentler face on slavery, latter making a woman from Ben's rib, who he named Aunt Jemmima - who then became more famous than John by inventing the minute pancake.
Latter in life, to make up for pancakes... John Parker changed his name to Frank Sinatra and invented blue eyes.
