As one of us had noted these song/cadences were more often used in the pre PC Army. In the early 60's our Drill Sgt would frequently get braced by the First Sergeant for singing rude cadences near family housing. Since there was some sort of family housing everywhere we marched, it cut his choice of lyrics by quite a bit.
