'Mudge and I have cringed at each singing (not by us!!!) of that "original and best known" version for many, many years. We usually do a variant of the Halleluyah Chorus or "For He/She's a Jolly Good Fellow" instead.

Would love to know more about the option you've discovered; hope someone posts words and tune, etc.
