Let me first say that this is one of the best and most instructive threads I have read in a long time. I want to mention, though, that it is remotely possible that Adam is playing the upper octave on the whiastle and has ont been able to articulate the lower octave, and is confused about the range. If this is not so, Adam, I apologise, but I just thought it warranted mentioning. I will be thrilled to try the half hole over the end of the whistle!!!
