I don't kow why some people seem to think that louder is better. At Orthodox Jewish weddings the bands play so loud that you can not hear yourself or the person sitting next to you talk. It is impossible to carry on a conversation. I prefer the approach of the famous Bluegrass band, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver. They set up only one mike for all 4 singers and their instruments. The result is a very sweet sounding melodious performance. SOL ZELLER
