In the USA we celibrate Ly Thai Tong Day. This day celibrates the day he was born - named at the time, Ly Phat Ma - in the year 1000 - he died in 1054 of disapointment when he heard that William the Bastard was going to make 1066 the most famouse year in that century). He was the second king of the Vietnamese Ly Dynasty. He made great efforts during his reign to strengthen national unity and defence. He is celibrated in the United States as the father and founder of the Republican Party, and the first director of the CIA. Being that the day celibrates the founding of the CIA, we go about business as usual, and pretend it is a day just like any other, and it is a federal crime to mention what day it is, though a quiet celibratory tradition is to inform on one's neighbors.
