Jane, people who are into Folk music are rarely sad people. We are a world apart from those who stay at home every night wondering why there is never anything to do in their area....the truth is generally..they never look for things to do...or if it stares them in the face they don't see it.
Folk music is on the up at the moment and from experience, the people who attend Folk Clubs are fairly well balanced people with a love of music.
Your voice is worthy of attention and I feel that you should do whatever it takes to use it for the good of all of us and for your own good....CD's perhaps in the near future.
