Now I have got it back from Hands-On, I can look at improvements.

If you just have a single (e.g. Bass) note, you will get it in brackets as the F below. For two notes, I think it attempts a chord name, but I will have to check.

If it can't identify a chord, I think you just a dot. (I wrote it a long time ago, 1996, and can't remember all the details!)

= means the same note or chord (held or repeated)
