Kerry opened his mouth and said something he shouldn't have. It was a foolish thing for him to do, no question. I don't doubt that many countries would like to see Bush defeated in November. Four years of this nightmare is enough. However, some of those countries might want to keep existing after the election, and if they have indicated that they don't like Bush, well, the noose could get a little tight.

In this regard, Kerry can't say more. It would only compound a very difficult problem, and it wouldn't solve anyone's problems, even his own.

The bush gang will jumpo on it because they seem not to have a whole lot to show for their years in office--at least not much to be proud of. So, they will keep after Kerry, and if that's the limit of what they can draw public interest to, they are in deep dung come November. IMHO.
