This is the chorus as I remember hearing it. My mother was a friend and associate of Leadbelly, Seeger, Guthrie, Lomax, etc. I heard this song many times in childhood. The end of the 1st verse, Thursday, was "...nobody wooden (wouldn't) go my bail". Then I remember the verse about stripes/shoulders, chains/legs.
