We are a trio, with occasional guests. We guest in other, large groups, and find them to be cumbersome........too much talk, not enough communication, etc. And particularly in performing, eye contact is alot easier with THREE people, than say, twelve. We do have a semi regular guitar substitute, if our third member is unavailable.........he's in other groups, and is happy to fill in when needed.The trio makes all decisions as pertains to playlist, guests, $$$ venues, etc.
