Llanfair and Penny_S, I pleased to know that I am not the only one here hanging on to old Singing Together pamphlets. I reckon that the program was a classic. In my school times, I think my all time favourite was one called "The Shepherd and his Dog" that went to the tune (verse only) of Click Goes The Shears but there were so many that I enjoyed.

Penny_S, When I get my collection back, I will have a look at what I have got - maybe I have some duplicates that we can swap or maybe you'll be able to fill a few gaps for me. So I'll get back to you on that one.

When I was in primary school we used to have a blue book that contained a colection from several of the Singing Together series - has anybody ever come accross those? As well as the radio program, one of the teachers used to play the piano and we used to sings songs from this book.

I'll finish now with what I remember of the Shepherd and his Dog.

Jon

Now there once was a shepherd who lived all alone
Away in the hills in a hut built of stone
He guarded his sheep so they kept to the trail
And the shepherd whistled gaily and the dog wagged his tail.
