I had a recording of this when I was a kid (60s). It was on an album with other funny old songs, including "A Tisket, A Tasket', "Big Noise Blew in from Winnetka", "Open the Door, Richard", "Cement Mixer". It was definitely a different version than the one I have heard by Josh White, but the same tune.
