That would get confusing at the Olympics. It's bad enough when England plays Liechtenstein, and the same tune has to be played twice over, and nobody knows which time it's being played for which country.

And given the significance that Americans place on these kind of symbols, it ought to be a guarantee that your childtren would grow up knowing how to pick out harmony notes for the notes they couldn't reach, and you'd have a singing nation.
