Jimmy, there's a Mainely A Cappella (in Maine) at http://www.a-cappella.com/. Is that the site you refer to?
John in Brisbane sent me some MIDI files:
I guess you would call this "close harmony," with the harmony a third above or below most melody notes, with little variation. It's like you'd hear from a hymn sing at church. I don't know how to do it myself, but I'd like to see what others can come up with from these four tunes. If you have an interesting arrangement for these songs, send it to me and I'll try to post it.
