As I understand it, Masons differ as Susan says from each other. The Masonic principles of Mozart may differ from your local small town lodge. I think it's like evaluating Christians, Muslims, Jews or any religious or non-religious organizations. Some Masons believe in God, some don't.

A secret order won't reveal it's principles to outsiders.
