I just found this site - I have been looking for Uncle Whoa Bill information forever. I was a member (probably 1944?) and had a button and Uncle Whoa Bill told me (on radio) to follow the string tied to my bedpost on my birthday and I would find my present. I remember this so well but I was beginning to wonder if it was real. I must have been four at the time. I also (think) I remember going to the show (did they have an audience?) and singing "Are you sleeping". Both of my parents have died and I had no one to ask.
I don't remember the Uncle Whoa Bill song though. THANKS for the memory confirmation!!
