I would also consider myself to be hopefully a pal of Kerry, all the Swift Boat veterans however their stories seem to conflict, anyone who deserted from the war because they just could not take it, anyone who respectfully and nonabusively opposed the war, veterans who came back with whatever opinions they rightfully earned, anyone who went to Canada, whether out of personal fear, which was justified, or moral consideration. I am not now and will never be a pal of those who were and continue to be abusive. mg
