1. what is your age range? barely over 50

3. Do you have a favorite color? black, green, purple

4. favorite authors/ type of book? mysteries, adventure, music/folk history, some sci-fi/fantasy, esp Charles de Lint, ELizabeth Scarborough and one I REALLY want by Margaret Atwood: Oryx and Crake

5. what books have you really been wanting? See above, plus Drinkers of the Wind and/or People of the Black Tents both by Carl Raswan; Mapp & Lucia by E. F. Benson; and/or, Another Place at the Table by Mrs. Harrison(?), The Lovely Bones Alice Sebold; Daughter of a Samurai by Edsu Inagaki; and anything by Barry Hughart, except Bridge of Birds as I've read it:-).

6. what type of music do you like? Almost anything, but prefer world/ethnic/folk from everywhere, esp. somewhere unusual and mostly instrumental

7. what cds have you really been wanting? Oh, Boy! Everything you hear on Hober Radio!**bg** First though would be "Stories the Crow Told Me;" Anything by "Big Blow and the Bushwhackers;" Diga Rythm's "Welcome to Our World;" Jean-Paul Guimond's "Fol Quebec;" ANYTHING by Leo Kottke or Tom Waits; Mill Run Dulcimer Band's "Give me just a little more time;"

8. What movies (vhs is in the price range) have you been wanting? none, thanks, don't buy movies for at home:-)

9. what is your t-shirt size? I am too picky about how they fit, BUT I don't have a Mudcat T and would love one in the biggest, loosest size they have

10. do you collect anything? if so, what? Not anymore...too much clutter, except music, of course:-)

11. what are some of your other hobbies? reading, beading, jewellery design, photography

12. do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry? neither, I am just too picky, plus just don't wear much anymore

13. please include anything else you feel is important that would help your secret santa know what you would like

Allergies to scents, so no perfumes, candles, or incense; also to some foodstuffs, i.e. preservatives, artificial colourings and flavours

I love little things, boxes, trinkets, etc. esp. regional and also cards, photos, or postcards and stamps an coins. WOuld love to have a few pennies or whatever they were called, depending on your country, before they all went Euro, IF my Santa is cross the pond.:-)
